Give Rise Studio
Give Rise Studio was the home for Revolution Modern Dance from 2021 through 2022. In their newest space on Carroll Street, they have focused on building a cooperative of local creative and wellness practitioners offering art, craft, yoga, movement, music and other programming to wholistically enrich and improve the lives of our community. In 2024, Give Rise Studio was established as the rain location for our outdoor Sky Stage Swing Dances. Starting in 2025, we will be hosting regular classes there to complement the lessons offered through Parks & Recreation.
The studio is a cozy industrial space with concrete walls, smooth cement floors, and intimate lighting. The space is well suited for low impact movement and quieter, less complex music due to the acoustics. The building is a few blocks off Carroll Creek, with multiple breweries and distilleries nearby to turn your dance class into a full evening adventure.

What to bring:
Our social dance classes do not have a dress code; please wear comfortable clothing and flat soled shoes.
Limited tea, coffee, and snacks are available for free at the studio. You are encouraged to bring your own water.
